Bernard Declercq is a screenwriter, director and visual artist. He studied film at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. In 1994, he created an ASBL of production : Filma Non Troppo.
In 1995-1996, he co-directed the documentary Gardes de Nuit.
Bernard Declercq directed the short films Big Sam (uel) (1998) and Hôtel des thermes (2000).
In 2006-2007, he co-realized with Thomas François his first feature, Control X.
From 2011 to 2012, he adapted the novel by Alain Doucet, Chauffeur-livreur, under the title Le petit diable, and from 2013 to 2015, he worked on the development of Dissensions, adapted from the novel by Alain Monnier, Côté Jardin .
